I have had a few families contact me today about shirts as they were unable to get to training this week.
This club and centre is run by volunteers most of who are the same for both organisations, the committee are all busy trying to set up and run the meet tomorrow and are unavailable to keep selling uniforms.
As a one time only on a Saturday I will open the Ellenbrook uniforms for sale between 7:00-7:15 tomorrow morning for people who need a shirt but will require correct cash only as I will not have availability of change or EFTPOS.
Our club shirts have arrived today and we will be selling them at training this week. Please remember that to compete this Saturday all Ellenbrook athletes will need to be in the correct competition shirt. Shirts are $30 each for the new design or $15 for last season design that will not be allowed to be worn next season.
Thanks to everyone who came down on Saturday and did a trial. We hope you had a great time.
If you are interested in registering to compete this season please come down to training tomorrow and we can assist you or you can go to resultshq.com.au and follow the links.
A reminder to all families that you need to be registered to the online system, POA shown and fees paid in full by Tuesday evenings to guarantee being registered for Saturday.
Unfortunately due to the thunder and lightning in the area we will have to cancel training tonight. See you all on Thursday.
If you have miss placed last seasons registration numbers and Coles badges can you please come and see us at training tomorrow night so we can organise a blank replacement number.
Remember that replacements numbers this season will cost $8.00 and $2.00 for your age tag.
If you are unable to attend training tomorrow could you please email Kym on firstname.lastname@example.org to organise blank numbers.
For all members who have registered for the 2018/19 season and are fully financial and have presented their POA, your registrations packs are available to be collected at training tomorrow (4/10/2018) from 5:00 p.m.
Unfortunately it looks like our uniforms are a couple of weeks away. Therefore all members are asked to either wear their navy training singlets or as close to a plain white singlet or shirt as possible. Remember as of this season only plain black shorts will be allowed no navy blue as in the past. Athletes may wear a second pair of shorts (eg compression shorts) underneath their approved uniform shorts. If worn, they must be the same colour as the approved uniform shorts colour, predominately black, or skin colour. If manufacturer’s logos are present on the uniform, the logo must not exceed 7cm x 5cm (approximate size of a matchbox).
The start of the competition season is fast approaching. To be eligible to compete on the 6 October you need to be registered and fully paid by Tuesday the 2 October. If you are a new athlete please ensure you have had your POA sighted.
On Thursday at 5:30 pm we will be holding a parent and athlete meeting. We are asking that all athletes have a parent representative in attendance.
Just a reminder that all returning athletes need to be registered if they are attending training sessions due to insurance, returning athletes are ineligible to participate as a trail athlete. All trails are only valid for 7 days and once this has expired you are no longer covered with insurance unless you complete a full registration and will not be able to participate at training.
All athletes attending training must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who is present on the oval. Under the terms and conditions athletes who don’t have a parent or guardian at training will be unable to participate.
Swan Valley LAC will be running a parent information session on Wednesday the 19 September for any parents interested in Chaperoning this season.
It will also give parents the opportunity to learn more about each event to assist parents to help their athletes make improvements.
The training session will be held at Coolamon Oval between 5:30-7:30pm.
Just a reminder that training starts tomorrow afternoon, 18 September, from 5:30-7:00pm at Coolamon Oval.
